Ski Cruelty FreeThis is a site for veggie skiers, who are fed up with duff cooking! "Those of you who have skied in the French Alps will know that vegetarian catering is not a French speciality, let alone catering for vegans. As a vegetarian you often get a poor deal with chalet food. The chef has no training in vegetarian cooking, they know what you can't have, but not what you can. You end up with a weeks worth of assorted steamed vegetables covered in cheese for the veggie or tomato sauce for the vegans. A succession of meals with the meat taken out but nothing extra added. This time we're going to get what we want. A chalet that is exclusively vegan one week and exclusively vegetarian the other (but with vegans still being extremely well fed), in a top ski resort with a Cordon Vert menu." I can't wait!
